On April 2, 2010, Ted Bogosian, a decorated filmmaker and a journalist, gave an interview to Radio Open Source, during which he made unsupported claims about Armenian national hero Monte Melkonian.
According to Ted Bogosian, Monte Melkonian "started selling arms and started selling drugs and started an Armenian terrorist movement," as well as "was in jail in France, for having masterminded several bombings in Europe, at Orly Airport and at Turkish embassies and other businesses, where many innocent people were killed."
